From a young age, I was a self-starter with a positive mindset, always seeing opportunity where others saw limitations. I once dreamed of becoming the CEO of a major corporation, never imagining that the company I would one day lead would be my own. My passion for people, connection, and growth shaped the foundation of SRL Hair & Beauty long before the brand itself was born.
A Passion Rooted in Beauty & Self-Care
My love for hair and beauty began in childhood. From teaching myself how to cornrow, practicing styles on my twin sister, and sneaking into my mother’s makeup, to studying beauty magazines and forming my own opinions on style and presentation — beauty has always been second nature to me.
As a teenager, I learned early that if I wanted something, I needed to work for it. That mindset led me to cosmetology school, where I gained a deeper understanding that beauty is not just about appearance, but technique, care, and intention. Although I didn’t complete my cosmetology journey in a traditional way, I continued practicing, learning, and building through hands-on experience, side hustles, and real-life application.
Wellness From the Inside Out
In 2019, my life took a transformative turn when I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. This experience introduced me to holistic healing and changed the way I approached health and wellness. Through extensive research, lifestyle changes, and a cleaner diet, I discovered the powerful benefits of sea moss and natural wellness practices.
Incorporating sea moss into my daily routine — and sharing it with my family — led to noticeable improvements in energy, balance, and overall well-being. This journey reshaped my understanding of beauty as something that starts internally and radiates outward.

As a flight attendant, I was given the unique opportunity to travel internationally and connect directly with vendors across the globe. From visiting hair vendors in Vietnam to touring production facilities in China, I gained firsthand knowledge of sourcing, quality control, and ethical production.
